D.G. Foundations Learning Park was established in memory of Danita Collette Gardner, our loving and nurturing daughter, aunt, and sister. She believed in the power of education and the impact it could have on young children. Danita died while trying to pursue a doctorate in education. She left us too soon but it is our pursuit to carry on her legacy and passion for education and children.

Our family landed here by way of the army at the Carlisle Army War College via our father who was a dedicated soldier. He served faithfully for 22 years. He later decided to retire and we have been a part of the Carlisle community for over 30 years. It only seemed natural that we give back to the community that has supported us.

D.G. Foundations Learning Park was the dream of Lashaun Marshall, Owner & Director. Lashaun has a degree in Early Childhood Education and extensive experience in child care. After sharing her vision with her family the business was born and her sister and brother, Rana Carothers, Co-owner & Asst. Director and Edward Cook, Design Consultant & Co-owner came on board. Rana possesses a degree in Business Administration. Edward a degree in Health Administration. With lots of effort, sacrifice, and two very supportive parents we stand proud of what we were able to accomplish. It is our hope to be a positive driving force in the lives of children who come to our facility as we nurture, protect, and learn through play.
